Focused on readiness, resilience, and rural community support.
Tri-State Relief Initiative empowers rural towns and underserved communities in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas to build disaster resilience through coordinated planning, continuity tools, and practical systems — with a special focus on communities under 3,000 people.
To build a resilient Tri-State region where every community is prepared, connected, and empowered to recover from disaster — through sustainable coordination, local leadership, and systems that leave no one behind.
We focus on rural towns under 3,000 residents — especially those with aging infrastructure, part-time responders, or vulnerable populations. Our early partnerships include clinics, food banks, schools, and municipal service providers working without formal emergency support.
Tri-State Relief Initiative was launched by Aaron Hoffman, a project coordinator with a background in nonprofit work and disaster response systems. His goal is to help small communities overcome structural barriers by offering practical, community-led tools for resilience.
